One soldier killed, at least two injured in cross-border firing in Rajouri district

One Army jawan was shot and at least two soldiers were injured in cross-border firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday morning.

“There was a ceasefire Violation (CFV) by Pakistan in the Sundarbani sector in the early hours on Monday in which one soldier was fatally injured,” a defense official confirmed.

There has been a heavy exchange of fire across the LoC in the aftermath of the Pulawama terror attack on February 14.
