Interim Budget is just the trailer of the Budget for New India post elections

Congratulating Finance ministry for presenting a populist budget, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today stated that the Interim Budget is just a trailer of the budget which, after elections, will take India on the path to development. “This Budget is for New India. There is something for everyone in this Budget,” Prime Minister said.

In his remarks after the interim budget was shown in Parliament, Prime Minister said the interim budget touches all sections of the society and includes everyone. “From middle class to laborers, farmers’ to businessmen, manufacturing to MSME sector, everyone has been taken care of in this Interim Budget,” Modi stated.

“Poverty is falling down at a rapid pace in the country and a new middle class is rising in the country. Neo middle class is making a big contribution in the development of the country,” Modi further said.

Recognizing the mandates of this new class, Modi congratulated the middle class for getting nil tax benefit till the income of Rs 5 lakh.

Modi stated it empowers people and referred to a host of budgetary announcements and schemes to drive home his point.

More than 12 crore farmers, three crore middle-class families and 30-40 crore workers employed in the unorganized sector will get advantage from the budget, he said.

This budget will boost the efforts of 130 crore citizens in realizing the goal of a new India, Modi said.
