Interstate drug supplier carrying reward of Rs 1 lakh arrested by Delhi Police

Delhi Police arrested a UP-based interstate drug supplier who had been declared a proclaimed offender in a case of the Narcotics Cell, Crime Branch. A reward of Rs 1 lakh was also announced by the Delhi Police on his arrest.
The accused, identified as Javed Khan (27), is a key player in the chain of drug syndicate being operated from Bareilly (UP) to many states.

Police received information from SI Ravi Saini about the possible whereabouts of the wanted criminal, Javed, following which the team activated its informers in the area. Based on technical analysis, it was found that the accused was residing in Deoriyan Kalan, Pilibhit (UP). Police swung into action and arrested him.

It has been found that Javed Khan had developed his own group of drug suppliers/traffickers in Bareilly and used to supply drugs across the country with the help of local suppliers.
