Sabudana and Buckwheat flour- Those who observe a fruit fast during Janmashtami fast can eat sago khichdi or buckwheat flour poori in the day or evening.

Keep this thing in mind while breaking the fast- After completing the fast, one should not eat very heavy food. By doing this you may have gas problem.While breaking the fast, first of all, food items like jaggery and water or kheer should be used.

Garlic and : Onion- During Janmashtami fast, meat and fish should not be consumed except onion and garlic.
