Bihar is once again going through political turmoil after the Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kuma cut off his ties with the National Democratic Alliance. Amid this crisis, of the Bihar Chief Minister’s speech has started making the rounds on social media. Those sharing it claim that Kumar said he would never join hands with the Rashtriya Janata Dal in this video.Kumar, in this said, “After this, it does not matter whatever the situation may be, there is no question of going back. A reverse search of the keyframes from the viral video led us to a tweet by the official handle of the RJD. Sharing the same video, this 2019 tweet claimed that Kumar had targeted the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the BJP in his speech.

Further advanced searches led us to a report published inon February 18, 2014. The report said that Kumar made these comments when he was asked if the JD(U) wanted to form alliances with the BJP again. Also stated the same.
However after parting ways with the RJD that he cannot be with “people who commit the sin of amassing property through corrupt means while hiding behind the shield of secularism.” Now, he is all set to form a new government in Bihar with the help of RJD again.
