Not Russian troops turning tail after Ukrainian attack, this explosion video dates back to 2015

A video of Russians running away after the recent attack by the Armed Forces on the Brylevka railway station in the Kherson region appeared on the Internet,” noted that’s being shared widely. “The Ukrainian military destroyed an echelon with equipment, ammunition and personnel.”The video shows what looks like a battlefield full of soldiers in uniform running. Black smoke is visible in the backdrop. The video appears to be shot from battle trenches and we can hear voices shouting in what sounds like Russian.

AFWA’s investigation found this is a 2015 video of a fire that broke out in a Russian military facility.

We ran the 15-second-long viral footage on a video analytics service. The service confirmed the language was Russian. The service also analysed the voices and concluded the tone appeared fearful. A translation of the words revealed the person(s) was swearing.
