The beheaded body of a woman, aged 20-22, was found in Meerut’s Lakhipura area on Friday morning. Police are searching for the head of the unidentified woman and are scanning CCTV footage from the neighbourhood to nab the culprits.

Police officials are checking the footage from all the CCTV cameras in the surrounding area.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officials reached the area and began an investigation into the whole matter. The forensic team was also called to the spot. The girl’s head has not been found yet.
Police have sought information about missing girls by flashing the information in all police stations.
The police officers are also trying to identify the girl and all the CCTV footage from the entire neighbourhood is being scanned.
