The recruitment process will start soon on more than 670 vacant non-gazetted category posts in the Uttar Pradesh State Tax Department. These include the posts of Junior Assistant, Stenographer, Urdu Translator, Principal Assistant, Driver Grade-4 and Sevak etc. Apart from the Additional Commissioners of the Zone, on behalf of the Headquarters, Additional Directors (Training Institutes) have been asked to provide post wise reports of non-gazetted employees. For this, a format has also been made available to all the Zonal Additional Commissioners, in which instructions have been given to make available to the Headquarters by filling the details of the sanctioned posts of non-gazetted category employees as well as the filled and vacant posts in the department.
After getting the zone wise information, a proposal to fill the vacant posts will be sent to the government. After getting permission from there, the proposal of recruitment will be sent to the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.
UPSSSC PET Exam 2022 (New Date of Preliminary Qualifying Test)
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has postponed the Preliminary Qualification Test (PET) proposed on 18th September 2022.This exam will now be held in October .PET 2022 will be held on 15th and 16th October 2022 (Saturday and Sunday).Let us tell you that this year a record more than 47 lakh candidates have applied to participate in the PET. For the recruitment of various posts including Clerk, Group C post and Lekhpal in various departments in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, only PET pass candidates are considered eligible to apply. Candidates who are successful in PET 2022 will be able to participate in UPSSSC recruitment for various posts for the next one year from the date of PET result.
