Adhaar enabled biometric attendance system (AEBAS) was initiated in July 2014 in government offices of India to keep check and balance on increasing employee absenteeism and late arrival in the office. Initially, the daily in and out of the government employees could be viewed by the general public; later on, it was restricted for the employees only, on October 2014. Daily attendance summary of employees can be viewed on the website as well as the presence graph, attendance trend and in-time analysis. Location wise, terminal wise and department wise reports of the employee attendance of hospitals, schools, and ITI can be viewed. Statistical data on Hospitals, schools, secretariat and cooperative banks is available on the website. Thus, a complete quantitative analysis of employee data can be accessed from this website.
