The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) is the one who looks after all the proceedings and activities related to elections in Chhattisgarh. His main duties include registration of different political parties for the elections and all the electors, administrating the activities related to elections etc. The office of Chief Electoral Officer undertakes various review programs and proceedings and also offers training. They are supervised by the Election Commission of India. This department takes all the possible efforts to reach out to the people of their state and spread awareness about their voting rights through an online source. They also provide quality services for issuance of photo Identity card, providing maps for a polling station and electoral data, updating electoral rolls etc. They provide all the necessary information related to the Assembly and parliamentary elections about the state. The department aims to provide citizen friendly and transparent information to the state.
