This is the official website of the Export Inspection Council of India, which was set up by the Government of India to safeguard its export trade through Quality Control and Inspection.
The website lists the services performed by the council: matters of compliance, covering the necessary certificates, inspection, and testing; pre-compliance issues including technical assistance, recognition of inspecting agencies and laboratories, residue monitoring, and quality control. Online services are also available on the site, including exporter registration and a centralized public grievance redress and monitoring system, to name a few.
Another feature of the website is a list of approved facilities of the country’s export products including laboratories and inspection agencies. There is also a knowledge repository of the legal matters governing matters of export trading, certification processes/requirements, and other pertinent news, newsletters, tenders and advertisements, and general information about the trade. Lastly, a contact page is available for getting in touch with the EIC network of offices in India.
