Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation

Gujrat State Road Transportation Corporation is a standing body that provides bus transportation services to the general public within the state of Gujrat. Moreover, they provide interstates bus services.
The GSRTC was formed on 1st May 1960 with the creation of the state of Gujrat. Initially, there were 7 divisions, 76 depots, 7 workshops in different divisions. There was a fleet of about 1767 buses in the beginning. But now, the stats have changed. The GSRTC has progressed a lot. Now there are 16 divisions, 126 depots, 226 bus stands, 1554 pickup stations, and a heavy fleet of more than 8000 buses.
The corporation has not only made progress in building up heavy infrastructure, but they also have built their own challenging technical facilities to cater to the difficulties. This progress has only been able to come true with the help of the hard works of more than 50,000 employees of the corporation.
