National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST)

It was observed that a certain number of communities in India were below the line of social standards. They were far behind the competition when it came to education, prosperity, economics, and other social factors. In order to provide these communities with the basic rights, the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes was formed. The commission worked hard in providing these people with what they deserved and after a few years of hard work, they were able to get the communities registered as castes and scheduled tribes. The notifications were made to amend the clause 1 of articles 341 and 342 of the constitution of India.
Since its formation, the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes has been working hard on making sure the provision of basic human rights to all the people residing in India. But they have been able to provide the requisite social standards to only a few people by the day.
